Are there any free or low-income clinics in the San Diego area? I’m unemployed, personally uninsured, and not covered by my domestic partner’s work insurance plan. Out-of-pocket doctor’s visits are something we can possibly afford, so long as I don’t discover I have some serious chronic illness, but Emergency Care would break us financially very easily.

I’m not trying to cut in line ahead of the homeless guy or the single mother of three here, but I haven’t had a checkup in three years and my arm has got some nerve problem going on with it that may develop into something serious if left untreated.
I just noticed this is in ‘dental’ even though I picked ‘general’. Grr.

There is a place where you can get from medical help in the San Diego area called the “UCSD Student-Run Free Clinic Project”. Here is their website:

Also, this health care service in San Diego claims, “Many of our patients qualify for free or low-cost services based upon their income and family size.” You may want to check this out as well. Here is their website:

There is this free clinic, too. It is called St. Vincent’s, which has been known for providing medical help by “San Diego’s Top Docs”. It is run by SVDPV church. Here is the website:
