I use medical marijuana mainly for anxiety.. And I have to move to Wisconsin.. Is weed any good there? How much are 1/8ths?? Any medical strains available?

As of May 13th, 2011, Wisconsin was not listed on NORML’s list of medical marijuana-friendly states. I’ve never been there myself, but being that it is fairly close to Canada, you may have some decent buds coming from that direction, but it will, of course, be black market prices and potency and hassle. Coming from southern California to the northern midwest, you may be disappointed in the potency and quality of buds, but just like any place, if you get to know the right people, you’ll be able to find what you need. I have never heard or read about this new finding, but my doctor said its true.

Were I to truly respond, I would have to do extensive research, using a medical data base. The goal would be to copy articles from medical journals, review the articles, study the conclusions, summarize the findings. Generally, the conclusion of all this work is as follows: more work on this subject is needed. Why is that it is difficult to monitor the control group and study group, difficult to control all the variables and account for differences in genetics and other health factors. To make it easy, assume your doctor has done his research and follow his conclusion. Hope this helps. As I no longer have access to such a data base, I cannot retrieve such articles. Medical journals’ editorial staffs are very selective in the articles ultimately published. Neither of my parents took this and lived into their ’80′s. My father passed at age 89. I believe my genetics will take me the same path. I take no supplementary vitamins. My older sister does take many vitamins and mnerals and sells them She is a vibrant 71 years of age and newly remarried with lots of energy, and a sharp business mind. Another older gentleman I know does take folic acid. He is also in good health, except for blood pressure. I think Folic acid is for pregnant women. I don’t think an internet search will help, but a university library search will provide the information you seek. In short, there is no definitive information on any vitamins except those involved in child birth and supplements for babies. I believer your doctor and plan to live to 85 or so if I chose. My ex husband’s father is over 100. He does not take Folic acid. As far as statistics, I doubt they exist. Note: I just remembered, my opthomologist told me to take it and Vitamin E for eye health as I have retinal deterioration. Can’t argue with that
