question is she will be moving around alot and I’d like to know if this is damaging to the child ?And if so can he recover from it.I’d also like to know if it’s true that the navy will not move a family with a autistic child because of this.And is Washington one of the states that won’t transfer military cause of the damnage it may cause?

it would depend on the level of autism, the age of the child , and what programs can be available where they move .
If she or her husband is in the navy it would be reasonable to request a more permanent placement.

And when Blazing Saddles can't contain itself at the finale, it just proves the Old West will never be the same!Mel Brooks scored his first commercial hit with this raucous Western spoof starring the late Cleavon Little as the newly hired (and conspicuously black) sheriff of Rock Ridge. Sheriff Bart teams up with deputy Jim (Gene Wilder) to foil the railroad-building scheme of the nefarious Hedley Lamarr (Harvey Korman). The simple plot is just an excuse for a steady stream of gags, many of them unabashedly tasteless, that Brooks and his wacky cast pull off with side-splitting success. The humor is so juvenile and crude that you just have to surrender to it; highlights abound, from the lunkheaded Alex Karras as the ox-riding Mongo to Madeline Kahn's uproarious send-up of Marlene Dietrich as saloon songstress Lili Von Shtupp. Adding to the comedic excess is the infamous campfire scene involving a bunch of hungry cowboys, heaping servings of baked beans and, well, you get the idea. --Jeff Shannon

Hi there,

I am an LMT from Las Vegas Nevada and would like to add infant massage to my list of services. I have googled my butt off trying to find out whether or not I need an additional certification for this, but can’t find anything. I have experience working with children and was taught indications/contraindications for infants in school and have done additional studies since then. I believe this is what I should be doing and want to get started but I am hesitant because I don’t want to be breaking any laws. I keep running into certification sites online but I don’t know if this is necessary or just an additional optional CEU.

Anyone out there know where I could find the answer to this? I can’t find it in the NRS (Nevada Revised Statutes) for massage, on the NCBTMB, City of Las Vegas or Nevada State Board Website…

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

I am in Indiana and I am a LMT as well. You can do infant massages BUT you really need to know what you are doing and having a CEU certification will protect you. I just went to Wisconsin and got my CEU certification in Infant Massage and I am going to workshop in Indiana for a 3 day training on Pre and Post-Natal Massage. I just like to add those to my credentials when I advertise that I can do it.

Have you checked with the AMTA and see if they can help? I know several people that have insurance through them and they can guide you in the right direction.

Not without a valid prescription from a qualified eye Doc- (that’s the Law) that’s the easy part- the hard part is finding someone that can overnight!
