I have a bump on my forehead. Every time I move my eyebrows it hurts. Any way to stop this?
Question by theghosttea: I have a bump on my forehead. Every time I move my eyebrows it hurts. Any way to stop this?
I got the bump yesterday when I bumped my head against the wall. I feel fine except when I move my eyebrows, which happens more often than you may think. Basically whenever I express any emotion, there’s pain right where the bump is.

anytime you hit, bump, hurt, injure an area, the best thing to do immediately is to move it & put a cold pack on it…EVERY TIME!!..being a day late, the best you can do is to go ahead & still put a cold pack on it, cont to move it, but also take the flat of your fingers & gently press onto & surrounding the area to promote circulation to the region, & decrease the sensitivity in the area…that’s it, all you can do…besides taking a pain med IF you really NEED it…

How do I know If I’m addicted to marijuana? And this friday will be the first time I sniff coke.
Question by BbOyXsPinNaz: How do I know If I’m addicted to marijuana? And this friday will be the first time I sniff coke.
I’m not sure if I’m addicted to marijuana and I also have an urge to sniff coke and experience. I smoke weed when I wake up not every morning though probably because I don’t have weed everyday. But If there was weed to smoke I would definitely finish it or share with my friends so I don’t have to do it the next day. But then I have a job, pays me good as a student. I know if I have money, I’ll have to buy some weed and smoke with my friends and chill. And if I don’t have the money, rarely, I get sad sometimes like, “where are you mary? i need to smoke you.” I really want to stop this addiction because school is about to begin. I thought of trying adderall pills so i won’t be lazy and start focusing and concentrate on my school work.

What is this pain moving from abdomen to back.?
Question by kai_kai217: What is this pain moving from abdomen to back.?
My boyfriend has this moving pain that happens pretty often. The pain starts in the abdomen and then slowly moves to his mid upper back. Its been happening for about a year or so but he usually just suffers through it because pain killers don’t help. To rate the pain would probably be a 10 outta 10. Has anyone heard of this kind of pain?
The pain starts in the upper abdomen and moves to the mid upper back.

Answer by Dr. Tina
You left out something very important. Which side is the pain on?
If the pain is on the right side it sounds quite typical of a gallbladder attack. I am a doctor. Within one year, I had 7 attacks. They are very painful. If I didn’t have pain meds I had to go to the emergency room. Unfortunately, if you go to an emergency room and they do an ultrasound and don’t see gallstones and see nothing in the blood work to indicate something is awry they may not administer pain medications. Some people have drug addiction problems and they give these type symptoms to get narcotics. Many ER doctors are very cautious of things like this. I did not have gallstones. Sometimes I would have abnormalities in my blood work when I was in the ER but sometimes the enzymes were not elevated until the next day. As it turned out I had trauma to my gallbladder and it would induce an attack. During a severe attack, I went to the ER, all tests were normal but my stomach was visibly distending. The Doctor performed a CT and found that my gall bladder was severely bruised. I had the wind knocked out of me earlier in the day with an elbow to my rib cage.I had a patient that had a bad habit of elbowing me just as I would perform an adjustment (I’m an orthopedic chiropractor). I was injected with pain meds 3 times before the pain was tolerable. The next day, I compared my ER visits to the days that I treated this women and each time I had an attack I had treated her. I tell this story because I understand how painful it can be. I also tell the story because there are things other than gall stones that cause gall bladder attacks.
It is quite typical with gall bladder involvement to have pain that starts in the abdomen and radiates around to the back, for some it goes to the shoulder blade.
Please add an additional comment if the pain is not on the right side. Any type of treatment such as ER visits would also be helpful.

My horse has facial nerve damage to the lip and nostril. It has been this way for 10 weeks. Wil it get better?
Question by Lenny: My horse has facial nerve damage to the lip and nostril. It has been this way for 10 weeks. Wil it get better?
10 weeks. Do you think it will soon get better? His lip hangs down on one side and his nostril collapses when racing.
Best answer:
Answer by Trainer0KidzNponies
With years the condition will improve slightly but never expect a full recovery. Nerve cells do not reproduce often and damage too them is very slow to heal. This is why it is so devastating. The horse my always have numbness and tingling in that area. The collapsing may not improve but the hanging may over the years. If it was severe, it may not show physical improvement at all. (such as complete destruction of nerve). Depending on which nerve surgery is sometimes an option, but expensive with no guarantee of success.
If this horse must race long distances, I’d say his career is over. It’s its a barrel, 2 D, pole, etc. racing going for short distances, this injury can have little to no effect on his career. If you think you would like to sell him, he should be fine so long as long distance running is out. Hunters, equitation, trail, etc. can all be fine.

Might you have restless leg syndrome? I don’t know how it’s treated but there are things that can be done. You do have to go to see a doctor however. The sooner you go the sooner you can get a resolutaion. Good luck. I move my feet as well but it doesn’t bother me the way it does you.

Pollution most definitely affects asthma. I lived in a condo right by the freeway and my asthma was really bad. I moved away from it and it got a little better. So, I think it does make a difference.
